Every door, fixture, and piece of equipment arrives as a family, and each one is a small commitment to either build, maintain, and version it yourself, or to trust someone else's work. The right move depends on how often the content is reused, how much embedded data it must carry, and who is on the hook to maintain it when products and standards change.
